Arnout earned his degree in Maritime Engineering from Delft and began his career at Delta Lloyd in 2012, where he joined the team for a graduation assignment focused on developing an information database and a risk rating tool. His strong analytical skills and technical insight led to a permanent position, launching his career in insurance as an Underwriter.

In 2015, Arnout transitioned with the team to Canopius, where he contributed to the development of the Asian book of business. He also served as the team’s specialist in risk analysis and rating tools, applying his analytical expertise to enhance underwriting precision and decision-making.

 

In addition to his underwriting responsibilities, Arnout now oversees Finance and Operations, bringing a data-driven approach to strategic and operational management.
